Hey hey hey! This is my first blogging experience, so cut me some slack if it's not the articulate piece you'd expect. However, I will do my best to keep this manageable in relation to length.
So, this day started off with a prompt, rather annoying 8:00 alarm. However, my temporary irritation was relieved when I saw a strapping young fellow you may know as Kamil in my other bed. Heading into our educational meeting, I had no clue what I was getting myself into.
Once we were all assembled on the JUMP bus, I came to the realization that I actually gained a lot from all the ice-breaking activities. It was shocking to see how similar many of us are, despite largely contrasting cultural backgrounds.
Now that I'm sitting in the living room watching the National Championship with the boys, I realize that we have a great group of people here and these chances to get away from life's daily nuances are becoming more and more important.
I can't wait to see what the rest of the week has in store for us!
